Senior Configuration/Technical Data Manager
Job Description and Requirements:
USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Senior Configuration/Technical Data Manager to support the Tanker Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
* Minimum of ten (10) years' relevant experience.
**Clearance Requirement:**
* Final Secret Security clearance.
**Travel:**
* CONUS travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
* SharePoint experience preferred.
Duties:
* Review program-unique specifications to include system specifications, development specifications and product specifications for both
hardware and software, for proper format, content and compliance with program requirements and appropriate standards; process
requests for nomenclature and requests for Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs) and track requests through appropriate
government agencies for response back to the customer.
* Support the configuration control function, to include receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking and final disposition of Advanced ]
Change Study Notices (ACSN), ECPs, Contract Change Proposals (CCP), Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW), Deficiency Reports
(DR), Airworthiness Directive Notes, Service Actions and Notices of Deficiency.
* Review change proposals for thoroughness, configuration and data management impacts and compliance with Government
requirements; make appropriate recommendations for Government review and disposition, and assist in the preparation and conduct of
Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Business Management Boards (or their equivalent).
* Maintain change proposal files and provide historical information as required.
* Support the conduct of Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and compliance audits, to include
audit planning, auditing hardware and software configuration items (CIs) and disposition and tracking of action items and minutes;
support other program and engineering reviews and technical interchange meetings, at government and weapon system Contractor
facilities.
* Maintain configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded
systems and equipment.
* Support SWEAP and PCOL2 database applications to ensure full time operational support and maintain data repository for accuracy and
real time availability of historical data.
* Support IT related deficiencies reporting and correction as available and required.
* Assist data users and requesters with the selection and tailoring of Data Item Descriptions (DID); preparation of one-time and standard
DIDs; and filling out Data Management forms such as Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Contractor Data Requirements
Substantiation (AF Form 585).
* Organize and issue Data Calls, and draft Data Call letters for government review and release.
* Support data reviews, integrate inputs from Program Office/Integrated Product Team functionals into draft CDRLs, prepare data review
documentation, participate in data reviews, draft data, review minutes, and follow up and maintain status of action items.
* Support preparation and maintenance of CDRLs for inclusion in RFPs, contracts and contract modifications using either automated or
manual processing systems as specified in the applicable task order; receive, log-in, track and maintain current status of contract data
deliverables; maintain electronic and manual data management files, and provide associated historical information.
* Update and maintain data management files and associated DID files.
* Support engineering data management; prepare and maintain Engineering Data Management Plan (EDMP), establish and maintain an
Engineering Data Activity File, and provide technical support in preparation of and conduct of Engineering Data Guidance Conferences
and engineering drawings In-Process Reviews (IPR).
* Support the DR function; receive, process and track DRs, establish and maintain DR/Material Improvement Project (MIP) files and
databases, provide disposition instruction for exhibits, and plan and conduct MIP Review Board meetings.
* Support the KC-46 and Tanker Baseline Change Board (BCB) as the secretariat; prepare and maintain meeting minutes,
* Additional duties as assigned.
